The truth is there's no better time but now. It may sound like a salesman's cliché but think about it:

When can you guarantee a good price? 

NOW - prices only tend to go up and only stand a slim chance of being dropped last minute to fill the ship. Most cruise lines offer early booking discounts and other incentives to encourage early booking. These might range from additional on-board credit for your cabin or free parking or coach transfer - or everybody's favourite early booking discounts.  

When can you get the best cabin?

If you want a good choice, book early before all the best (or cheapest) cabins have been taken. If you don't know what the best or cheapest cabin is, ask someone like me to advise you - that's what we're paid to do! If we're not advising you, we're advising someone else which means someone else might be booking your cabin now. Certain companies, such as MSC even put their prices back up to full brochure fare once their shops are 80% full so it really is true that the early bird catches the worm...
