My, That's a Big'un!

Oasis of the Seas - officially the largest passenger ship in the world
- but does it really feel that big onboard?

We had a healthy quota of senior management who were priveleged enough to get out to and get onboard the OotS for its pre-launch trade-partners introduction.

I've spoken to them to get their feedback - and it's all incredibly positive!

Andrew Adler, Sales Director at Cruise.co.uk said it took him by surprise, it really didn't feel as big as he'd thought and it was all very tatefully done. He was impressed and expected, once the word had got around, that it would be very popular.

Andrew Gardner, MD of Cruise.co.uk and a regular cruiser of over 25 years - someone who's been privileged to travel on just about every ship out there at one time or another, and whose favourite ship is Silversea's Silver Wind (I think! - will confirm) at just 32,000 GRT was equally impressed. He said the ship was elegant, exciting, classy and because of the division into neighbourhoods, does not fell anywhere as big as it actually is. He said it would really appeal to someone who wanted to have much to do onboard.
